Gloria J. Bowden
Executive Director
Executive Director Gloria Bowden has been with the Affordable Housing
Coalition of SC since February 2000.
Under her leadership, Coalition has enjoyed considerable
growth in membership and is now considered the lead advocacy organization
for affordable housing in South Carolina.
She is a professional non-profit executive, having previously
served as Executive Director for the S.C. Adult Day Care Services Association,
the S.C. Public
Health
Association
and
the Apartment
Association of Columbia after 3½ years working in a Columbia association
management company.
Prior to her move to South Carolina in
1999, she served as Executive Vice-President of the Garner Chamber
of Commerce in North Carolina for five years.
She currently volunteers administrative services to the
SC Homeless Coalition to build their membership and visibility statewide.
